He came to pick me up after work and we went to Timbre @ The Substation to celebrate our belated 2nd Year Anniversary as i was having my exams and he was busy during the actual day. Place and ambient was not bad, food was good, drink is also good, staff are mostly very friendly and apologetic except one. But their service is pretty slow and kinda screwed up in the sense they serve food to wrong tables and tk hours to serve the food. To make matters worse, we were informed that the gas stove was having some problems, they ran outta chicken wings, and i hardly eaten the whole day and was feeling VERY hungry! =( A hungry Yuriko is a angry Yuriko! *sulks*

and so we reached there at about 6+ to 7pm, ordered the food and drinks. drinks came first without a doubt, followed by the cheesy baked mussels that came shortly after. then we waited til 8+pm before the Pizza came..have a feeling they forgotten about us!! and then we waited til they fix the stove and cooked our Sirloin Steak which i suspect that they had initially served it to the wrong table, as we saw a guy seating nearby who came much much much later but his steak was served first! ARGH! by the time the sirloin steak came it was about 9+pm! i was so angry i had told them i wanted to cancel the order for the steak! they keep coming to tell us another 10mins, then after 20mins, they came by and apologise and said it'll come in 5 to 10mins. but then another half hr past and still no sign of the steak! argh!! and so i told one of the waiter that i wanna cancel the steak! he wasnt too happy, but anyway 10mins later he came by with the steak in hand and said its alrdy done. and gave a very bad attitude! i had so wanted to complain him la! other staff were very nice! He is the only black sheep! Gosh! I could have shouted in his face and said "Which part of my 'Cancel our Steak' do you not understand and rejected it right away!~" but alas i didnt, cuz i could tell in Stanley's eyes that he had really wanna eat the steak since he kept telling me bout how nice it was and we had kinda came specially down just for the steak. sigh..and so not wanting to spoil the day further, i just kept quiet, ignored the waiter and calmed myself down...

then Stan said he was tired, so after the steak and finishing our drinks, we left the place without watching the liveband...

it just aint my day...simply unlucky to the max. thats all i can say. argh!! it was suppose to be a very nice lovely day of celebration...but things just didnt turn out the way we expect and want it to be....kinda disappointed...but still...nonetheless, thanks baby for bringing me there for dinner and making the effort to celebrate our belated 2nd yr. =)

cuz i did something from my list of things to do! i went for a morning 2km jog at 6am! weeeee~ finally moved my lazy bum after procrastinating for so long! hah! hopefully i will have the determination to go for more of such jogs with an increase in distance!! im in need to lose weight!! my huge tummy looks pregnant! faints!

and i just dropped Muffin off at his groomer for his full grooming! will update more new picts of his new furcut soon! hehe!

anyway gonna go Timbre @ The Substation tonight with Stanley to celebrate our belated 2yrs anniversary.. looking forward as he mentioned the place is nice with gd food and great liveband when he went not too long ago with his friends. =)

gosh my life have been pretty monotonous these days that i have nothing much to blog at all!! i've opened this "New Post" page many a times. but just as i wanna blog, i realise i simply have nothing to blog...

Life has been pretty boring....

been at home doing the housechores, packing up my room and packing up some old stuffed toys which i've planned to donate to the orphanage for the moment. Its less then half my collection, but i'm just not ready to let all my precious go yet! Some have sentimental values and some are birthday gifts etc. Guess it'll take me some time to slowly learn to let go and be gracious enough to donate them all to the orphanages.. The reason i'm even thinking of letting some of my precious go is cuz of the lovely heartwarming smiley faces i saw during my last mission trip to a orphanage in batam. Thats when i decided i needed to do something! =)

other then that i've simply been rotting in front of my laptop, and i only go out at night for suppers with friends to catch up..

other than that my life is pretty boring now...nothing exciting happening in my life!! to think i had a list of things i wanna do before my exams...duhz~

think im gonna start working on some of the items on my list soon! as for now...i'll continue rotting my day away....cuz i'm still feeling tired every single day though my exams are already over...-.-" my bio clock havent properly tuned back yet! my slping hours have all gone haywire~

and some friends even commented that i have very puffy and sad eyes..-.-" its probably due to my lack of proper slp...

Flowers nv fail to put a smile on my face, chase the blues away, and brightens up my gloomy days! =)



My thoughts manifested once again! Outta the blue today, my door bell rang. Looking at the clock, i couldnt think of anyone who would come by my place at that hour. So i guessed it was probably the Newspaper man collecting the monthly subscription fee, or some sales man. But to my surprise when i look thru the lil hole on my door to check who it is, i saw an aunty holding a bouquet of flowers.

And so i opened the door and she pass me the flowers, ask me to sign off the acknowledgment slip and said the flowers were addressed to ME!! i was so happy!! haha! i didnt ask much, closed the door and took the flowers back to my room right away. Notice there was a card attached and so i was curious to see what was written on it and who its from! Guess what! No names written. Instead its stated that its from A Secret Admirer! LOL!!

One thing for sure its definitely not from Stan, as he's not the kind who would give or surprise me with flowers outta the blue. And to him its just a pure waste of money. Spend awhile thinking who it could be from while admiring at the beautiful roses..But alas, i gave up thinking and was just happy and contented looking at the bouquet!

Haha!! Well, i think i've mentioned before in one of my past post, that i rarely receive flowers in this whole entirely life of mine! The amount of times i received and the no. of stalk can be easily counted!! Just a recollection~ i've received a small bouquet of 3 stalks of Pink Roses back when i was in secondary school from one of my ex bf ChongMing during vday, another stalk of Red Rose from yet another ex bf Jack during vday, a stalk of Sunflower(my fave!) beautifully wrapped and in a bouquet from Kevin on a random day, a bouquet of Pink Roses for one of my photoshoot from Glenn (not exactly counted ba. cuz its suppose to be a prop for the shoot! but still sweet of him to get them for me!), and another stalk of Red Rose from a Secret Admirer whom sent it to my office back when i was still working in OMS! (Gosh that came as a shock to me and i thought there is a stalker at my work place! Til date i still dont know who it is from! ). and the last one i received was a stalk of Red Rose from my bf Stanley during vday. Yeap and that is all!!

And now an addition to my recollection!! a really beautiful bouquet of 10 red roses from yet another secret admirer!! hahaa!! =D This is definitely the prettiest bouquet as its beautifully wrapped up in white and tied with a gold ribbon! My fave colour combination! White and Gold! I LOVE! =D On top of that its also the biggest bouquet i've received in my life compared to those i received in the past! Hehe! (i aint that worried bout who it is from, as im sure its from someone close since my address is known! and it must be someone who had planned to brighten up my day and make me smile! just to let u know...u certainly did!)

In anyway whoever it is, my secret admirer~ Thanks for the awesome looking bouquet of roses! Really beautiful! And it u've succeeded! as it certainly put a big wide smile on my face and without a doubt brightened up my day! Thanks so much! =D

anyway just a quick run thru of my weekend...

1) Friday spend my day slping til afternoon and rotted til evening Stan came over for dinner with my below my place and we went back to his place to rot and waited for time to pass. At 8pm we went for our CellGroup Meeting which was awesome before heading back to his place to rest for the night.

2) Saturday woke up to eat, rot, nap, watch tv, and in the evening we went for our church service at CHC. Service was gd as always and we learnt new songs of praise and worship! After service, it was fellowship time where we had dinner at Geylang Lor 9! Had the yummy Beef Hor fan! havent eaten that since years back in my clubbing days where i use to go eat with Linda and friends! =) Anyway after that didnt join them for durians or ktv as Stan had to attend a funeral and thus send me home first.

3) i stayed home the rest of the night of Saturday. had wanted to go out. But was suffering with a bad headache again! *sulks*

4) Sunday, which is today, woke up and rotted my day away...did some troubleshooting for my Mum's computer, watched tv, and took a nap, woke up had dinner and watched tv and here i am online now~

yea as mentioned i needed drinks~ and so my study group planned an after exam celebration last night! but sadly Kelvin and Mike didnt join us and Alan left shortly after as he was way too tired... and so the rest of us, namely, Jerrain, Jeffrey, Seth, Glenn, Cheryl and Me went for our drinks at the old District Bar which have since been renamed to Givande Ktv Pub located at Keong Saik Road. We had a couple of jugs of beer, with some calamari and chicken wings, played games, chatted, took photos, sang songs...the night was kinda quiet withut the other 3 guys around...but its still fun nonetheless. =) soon it was already 12+ to 1 and some of them had to go home to rest for the night as they had to work the next day..

and so i left and took a cab down to meet Simin, Linda, Yvonne to attend Simin's boss's birthday celebration at Club Ratchada.. as i reached pretty late i was made to down many glasses of liqour upon reaching...one after another with each and everyone...gosh..what a night..after which we went to have Bak Kut Teh for supper before Michael send us all back home.. =)

it was a disaster. i nv felt worse coming out of an exam hall. i almost teared. or mayb i did a lil. but held back my tears as i didnt wan my mates to worry. i totally went blank. i couldnt answer at all. i was blabbering nonsense thru out and i only manage to blabber 2 and a half page per question. it was crap.

and im still feeling pretty disappointed with myself!

as mention my papers were ok - not so ok - bad - worse!!

argh! i so wanna strangle myself!!

yeap...tmr is our final paper! 3 papers are alrdy down...sigh...getting from ok to bad to worse....

first paper GBE was alright...Ecomm and RSM were back to back on Monday and Tuesday..and it was sucha killer! EC wasnt too bad although not very good....but RSM was horrid! sigh...the topics we focused on didnt appear...and thus i was in a lost state when i opened the question paper. i sat there and stare at the paper for 10mins in disbelieve before reality eventually sank in and i rush to start on the paper which i had no confidence in and totally didnt know what to do...i could sense smoke coming out from me!! smoking my way thru and writing whatever nonsense that comes into my head.... =( *sulks*

i still remember both me and Alan's reaction...well he so happened to be sitting with me during exam...and we both just blurped out "SHIT"....gosh and i almost did a WarCry!!

anyway its over and theres nothing much i can do bout it now.....can only pray hard for the best!!

as for tmr's paper..sigh.....very worried....cuz i did minimal preparations for it as compared to the first 3 papers! in another 11hrs plus from now the paper would start....feeling freaking stressed up right now....

but yet cant wait for it to be all over and done with!! i seriously am in need of alcohol intoxication!! drinks drink and more drinks!!!

oh yea...tt reminds me....sidetrack abit.....i shared a can of Tiger ytd with Jerrain while we mugged til 5am! haha! yay~ Tiggeress had Tiger! weeeeee~

ok back to my ranting....Yawns...im so tired!! i NEED rest rest and MORE rest and SLEEP! i've been lacking of slp for these past weeks..slping only about 4 hrs a day..and its taking quite a toll on my body!! i feel like my body is breaking up and aging very quickly!! argh~
