Halloween Horror Nights 2 @ USS

Havent been attending any Halloween events for the past years, and so this year, since my friend asked me along, I decided why not! Since we're all still, well, considered pretty young, we should go all out to have fun! :)

And so we decided on going to the Halloween Horror Nights 2 events at Universal Studio Singapore! :)

It was a fun filled night yesterday, went with 5 other friends, of which 2 of them I just got to know that day, they were my friend's friend. But I'm glad we went in a bigger group as it was way more fun this way! As the saying goes, the more the merrier! :) Along the way, bumped into many friends whom I've not seen in ages! Overall I would say it was worth going!!

Thank goodness we went on a Sunday, heard the Saturday crowd was quite bad and it rained! Lucky us! Queue weren't as long and no rain! Wish they could extend the time longer though! Felt that the time from 8pm-12mn was quite short!

Attraction Rating: 9/10

Scary Actors, Costumes and Make up: 10/10

Scary Rating: 8/10

Fun Rating: 10/10

Five scare zones and three haunted houses. The bizarre terror of The Puppet Master as he brings together the sinister Doctor Dementia, The Undertaker and The High Priest, Doll Houses, etc.

Anyway here are the highlights and attractions for the event!

• Destination 1: Dungeon of Damnation (entrance beside Monster Rock Theater) – this the MUST GO and the best haunted house among the three.
• Proceed to Sci-Fi City via New York Street – experience the Total Lockdown on New York Street, followed by highly recommended but optional ride on Battlestar Galactica Cyclon if the queue is not too long. It is a whole new experience to ride Cyclon at night.
• Destination 2: Insanitarium  (at Waterworld) – Make a quick pass through Ancient Egypt as there’s nothing very happening there. Drink something before Insanitarium as it is going to be warm in this enclosed outdoor haunted house.
• Destination 3: Lost World - Ride the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure as the ambiance is so much more realistic at night compared to a day ride. Look for a locker, be prepared to get WET.
• Proceed back to Ancient Egypt – Time to rest and buy some snacks and drinks from Ancient Egypt and now you can spend. a while exploring Bizarre Bazaar at Ancient Egypt.
• Destination 4: Death Alley – This haunted house is actually optional, proceed only if you have extra time.
• Proceed to Total Lockdown or House of Dolls –  As you slowly stroll out of the park. This is actually one of the best time to take pictures as it will be less crowded now and the scare actors roaming the streets will remain on the streets till the park is empty.

I'm BACK to blog!!

Dear all lovely readers!!

Thanks for the continual support even to date! I haven't been updating since June this year, But my traffic is still pretty much constant throughout this time! Thanks very much! :) I didn't forget about you guys, and I certainly didn't forget about my blog. I just couldn't find the time to sit down to blog and upload my photos!!

I have tons of stuff to update! 

- Taiwan Trip back in April

- My 25th Birthday

- Korea Trip in September

- Some major decisions which I've made in my life

- and as always many nice yummy places I went to, and places I visited

I will try to fill it up soonest!!

Lately due to the major decision which I made (I will update here soon, once everything has happened for sure. For now I will keep you guys in suspense for a little while longer), I'm busy mugging and studying again for exams!! Some of you may be able to guess it, some of my close friends may already know it, and for those who don't  just to let you know, I'm not back into studying again. No time or money to take up my Masters yet! May in future, will see how it goes!

Anyway, hope all of you are doing well, getting on well in life, and living life to its very fullest!! If not, I do hope you would soon! Life is so unpredictable. A secondary friend of mine just passed on recently, was so shock and upset by the news that I was totally lost for words and drenched in tears. How fragile life is. He was a very nice guy who had good prospects and a good future ahead. But I trust that God had better plans for him and brought him to a better place. Rest in peace my dear friend...

Word of advice to all, Ignore those that are unworthy, treasure those who loves you, and live life to its fullest! =)

1st Photoshoot for my ride!

In the midst of deciding if I should sell my ride or not. My lil red lulu has been with me for more than a year now, really dont bear to let it go~ Therefore just in case I do sell it, I'll still have photos of it! Decided to trouble my friend to help me with the shoot! =) Thanks pal!!

First of all, I want to thank EVERYONE whom had wished me a happy birthday! Appreciate the kind thought! :)

Secondly, I want to thank the people who put in the effort to surprise me and celebrated my birthday with me this year. Truly touched, truly warmed my heart, truly made me a happy girl this year. =)

Finally reach a quarter of a century. How time flies. Aged another year! This year passed in a flash for me, and many stuff have happened, met many nice people as well, and rekindled a few old time friends whom I can regard as my really good friends now. :) Its amazing how some friends whom you are not close with, dont really talk to back in the past, can come back into your life somehow and eventually become your very good friend whom may possibly stay by you for the remaining years of your life. :) I'm thankful firstly to Facebook, for it has truly helped me find many old friends from my past and helped maintain our friendship to date. =)

Anyway back to my birthday! Below are snippets of my birthday celebrations! :)) Thanks to all of you! Love each and everyone of you so much! :) ♥

 My first bday surprise cake for this year (my all time fave Choco-exotic!), my first Ukelele (present from my lil bro), pressie from my boss Doreen, as well a pressie from my very sweet colleague Alicia. =)

Bday surprise 2d1n stay at Siloso Beach resort with 1 of my fave cake from Awfully choc, a huge pretty balloon and a beautiful bouquet of blue and pink roses. Thanks Nic, truly appreciate everything! All the effort you went through to prepare and make this a successful birthday surprise for me, I am truly thankful. :)

 Chillout and dinner at Timbre@Substation with my all time best buddies, Darren, SinGen and QiuHen! With 2 surprise slices of birthday cakes (as per 1st photo in above collage), some surprise message dedication on the message board! =)

Kite Flying with Muffin Dearest at Marina Barrage! ♥

Its been an awfully long time since I last blogged. Apologize about it again as I was super busy with work and stuff.

Anyway I will try to post up as many back dated photos and post today, as some of my friends have actually been persuading me to update soon! Thanks once again to all my lovely faithful readers! =)

Back to the topic, after much ranting, we finally found time to go kite flying at Marina Barrage! Been ranting for the longest time of 2 years! Anyway, brought Muffin along as it is a place which allows pets and I'm really glad and thankful for that! Really hope there would be more places in Singapore that is pets friendly! =)

As it was raining in the day, we were initially kinda worried that it would be called off again. But thankfully the rain stopped and was left with occasional drizzles, but that didnt stop us from making our way there. But as most may know, it isnt really windy after it rains. And so most of the kites we saw were hardly up in the sky, and many children were running around trying to get their kites up high. Watching the failure of many kite-flyers, I decided I didnt want to try til I can feel the breeze in my face, and caressing my hair~ So there I was walking around aimlessly with Muffin, and allowing him to play and socialize with other dogs who were around, with some kids were followed me around and with some dog lovers who approached and petted Muffin. :)

Aside from that, I know I cant forget nor miss the chance of snapping some beautiful photos of the scenery! =)

Later at night, just before we decide to leave for the day, we felt a sudden breeze that totally changed our mind about leaving. Sat back down again and monitored the situation for a while, and true enough, shortly after we saw some kites flying up high in the sky. The down side was, the sun has set and the sky was dark. Nonetheless, we decided to fly our kites, and indeed they flew up really high within a minute or two! =) Feeling pleased with myself considering it was the first time I flew a kite, we stayed on for awhile before we left the place and head to ECP for our dinner. =)
