Happy Mother’s Day 2010

Happy Mother’s Day 2010 to each and every Mothers on Earth!!

Not sure if everyone celebrates this day. But my family don’t really celebrate Mother’s day nor Father’s day. We used to celebrate it when my grandma was still around. But soon stop doing so. Not sure why either. Haha.

Anyway, Came home in the afternoon, did some chores, bathed Muffin darling and basically laze around at home. In the evening, my family and I went to Pizza Hut at Siglap for dinner!

Yummy! Been wanting to try the new Crunchy Cheesy Bites Pizza! Anyway we ordered the Fiesta Meal! It comes with 1 cunchy cheesy bites pizza, 1 regular pan pizza 4 glasses of coolers, and 4 bowls of soup!

Straits Kitchen @ Hyatt Hotel

woke up early with Dear as he had to go to work. He send me home first before heading to work though. Upon reaching home, laze throughout the day as i was quite tired.

At around 4, went to prepared, washed up and got dressed up and head down to Cityhall and to Marina Square. I reached at 5.30pm. -.-" i was too early! silly me saw the clock wrongly!! i thought it was an hour later~ *faints* and so i walked around and chatted on the phone with Caelyn, and at about 6 plus we hang up and continue smsing~ and she asked me to snap a photo of myself at that very moment and send to her! hahah! and so i did~ guess what? she edited and beautify the photo for me! haha! Thanks sweety! =)

Dear soon knocked off and we met up and head down to Hyatt Hotel, Straits Kitchen, to attend his cousin, Bennett's 23rd birthday dinner!

Ambience wasnt good. The crowd aint good. Dinner was not very good either. Mainly because they served local cuisines. Malay, Indian, Chinese and Nyonya Kuehs~ This meant that its all Halal~ Plus I'm not exactly a huge fan of local food~ Would have preferred Japanese cuisines and fresh oysters!! haha! But nonetheless, some of the food aint too bad. Tasted quite good. But sadly the chilli crab aint very fantastic~ NOT a recommended place for sure. I will NEVER wanna dine there again!

Well after dinner, it was time for the cake cutting session. Followed by photo taking and the adults had their wine and beer and chatted til about 11pm before we head home for the night~

TGIF!

TGIF = Thank God Its Friday!!

Its been a long time since i last said it! Its been a long time since i last countdown to TGIF! Ever since i stopped working, everyday is a holiday to me. I never had to countdown to Friday nor weekends. I never had to countdown to Lunch time. I never had to countdown to KO = Knock Off time!

But now im back to reality! Back to working life. All the counting down begins again~ Many stuff to look forward to again! Look forward to lunch time. Look forward to Knock Off. Look forward to Fridays and weekends. Look forward to having free time to meet Bf!

And today is a Friday again! Yay!! My first week of work just past in a flash!! Everything had went well so far, and i really hope everything would continue to go on well for the next few years to come! =)

Anyway, after work today, i took a train down to Cityhall and walked to Suntec City to wait for Dear to Knock off from his work!~ And so i started shopping around~ Was tempted to buy lotsa stuff! but i controlled myself and only ended up buying a pair of lovely earrings that i would regret not buying! =) As i was very hungry and my legs were aching i decided to stop by McDonalds~ Gotten myself my favorite Cinnamon Melt and a cup of Ice Lemon Tea~ Its the first time im finishing the whole Cinnamon Melt all by myself!!! So Sinful~ But i still LOVE~ LOL!

After which left McDonalds and continue window shopping. At about 8.30pm, he finally knock off! i said finally cause i wait for him for a total of 2 and a half hours!! *faints* After we met up, we head over to Marina Square to shop. He gotten himself a new messenger bag! After which we head for our dinner.

Tried persuading him to head over to BQ to meet my COT for Ktv session. But he was too tired and refused. Sigh. Ended up i didnt make it down. Sorry COT. i know i let you guys down. =( Some unhappy stuff happened when i informed them that i aint turning up. Not gonna go into details. All i can say is i am really sincerely sorry.

It's really not easy to please everyone and have the best of both worlds.... =( Feeling really awful bout it...... I really wish i could Split myself into TWO right at that very moment. Seriously.

Anyway we left MS after dinner and headed home to rest for the night. I totally knock out after washing up..

Ip Man 2 and Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill are Awesome!

went to work as usual...feeling very tired again..good thing the bosses werent around today so its a little relaxing and no one could see me yawn all day!

lunch time met up with Valenz, and we went to Watami, which is a Japanese Casual Dining Restaurant at ION! Food was pretty good and we chatted for awhile before heading back to work.

was suppose to meet Caelyn in the evening, but i was simply too tired, plus she would be late and had to rush. thus i ended up cancelling the meeting.

Dear came over to fetch me after work instead. Was suppose to just have dinner and head home to rest since i was tired. But ended up before he turned into the carpark to pick me, he bumped into Bei who had came to fetch Valenz from work! (well as above, its obvious Valenz work near me! thats why they would bump into each other on the roads!) And so they stopped at the carpark and chatted, and decided that we would have dinner together.

And so, we head over to The Regents Hotel to park the car before we cross over to Tanglin Place to have dinner at Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill & Bar! Awesome place indeed! The setting and ambiance is really good! Relaxing Music playing in the background, Romantic and Cozy dim lighting, with the American Chicago atmosphere and decors! Plus their service is almost top notch! I said almost because, they were really friendly helpful and nice, and they would come over to check if everything is ok or if the food are alright, BUT they dont re-fill our glass of water as frequently, and when Dear asked them to refill the water, they ONLY took the glass that he was pointing to, and refilled it! and left the other glass empty on the table -.-" haha! That aside, all the food that we ordered taste Fantastic too!! The portions were also pretty huge!! BUT the Only thing bad about it is that its pretty pricey!! But no harm trying good food with good ambiance once in awhile! =) This is a place i would definitely wanna visit again!! Without saying, it means that it is RECOMMENDED to all!! Do try it out if you like American Chicago food! =)

After dinner, we continued chatting and the guys suggested watching a movie! And so, we left the place and head over to catch the show Ip Man 2!! Yes i know almost everyone else around me have watched it!! Im so SLOW! haha! but as the saying goes, better late than never. So yea was quite happy i finally get to watch it!

I would give it 4.5/5 popcorns! Really good show! So do catch it if you havent! =)

Basically the show is a continuation of Ip Man shown in 2008. It is a Chinese martial art movie about Ip Man who manage to survive after the war and moved to Hongkong with his family. He set up a Martial art school and recruited some fine young man. But these young man are hot tempered and provoked people from another martial art school. And this martial art school happen to belong to the top martial art master in that town. Ip Man soon had to help save his disciple from the hands of those guys and ended up having to challenge other masters in town to be recognized as a Martial art master so that he can continue to run his martial art school. The first part of the show is most about him against the other martial art master. While the second part of the show took a turn and all the martial art master were again the British who were ruling Hongkong. The corrupted British police bullied them and and invited the world best boxing champion to the town for a boxing competition. This is where the top master died in the hands of the champion boxer as he wanted to prove that Chinese martial arts is not one to be made fun of and look down upon. Ip Man seeing his fighting spirit to protect the Chinese martial arts decided to challenge the boxer and eventually wins him! And the corrupted police was eventually caught! And the last part was pretty rush where a lil boy name Bruce Lee came to Ip Man and wanted to learn martial arts. They then showed fast forward photo glimpse of the future where Bruce Lee grows up and learns from Ip Man! A good ending indeed!

Hope i didnt spoil the show by summarizing the show here! haha! But anyway, its really very summarized as i didnt mentioned every character and every part of the show. As im mainly focusing on the character Ip Man and the story line. Thus, you'll still have to see the show to truly understand! =)

After the show, Dear send me home for the night~

Gosh, im so tired these days that i'm starting to have heavy eyelids, and heavy eyebags! zombified! looking like a zombie or a panda right now!

In fact, i think im starting to look like L from Deathnote! hahaha!!

work has only started 3 days! and im already so tired! i hope my bio-clock can switch back ASAP! i really need my sufficient sleep!

quite glad that this job has been pretty good so far! so even though im pretty tired, at least im happy working! =)

Oh yea! and yesterday, BF came to pick me up from work as well! =) Happy Happy! after which we went back to his place and as we were both tired, we decided to just stay home and i cooked Maggi Noodles with eggs and sliced abalone!! =) We love!! hahah! and we Continued watching our HK drama and he played Angry Bird again, before he send me home for the night!

As for today, i had to go home myself after work! And its not a good thing for me! Firstly cuz my feets were hurting from wearing new shoes! and the other thing was, i had to walk through Wheelock Place and ION! and i end up shopping on the way to the MRT station! faints~ Ended up buying another new pair of pumps, bangles and helped donate to the charity before i head home!! Im so broke!

Next month would be worse for me! JUNE! many close one's birthday! *headache*
3rd - Mummy's birthday
4th - BFF, Caelyn's birthday
9th - BF's birthday!

PLUS, my lappy is spoiling! It keeps on auto shut down for no reason!! *sulks* i may need to get a new lappy from the IT show coming in JUNE as well! Gosh~

IM SO BROKE! and SO TIRED!!

SAVE ME! Oh GOD! Please give me strength and guide me on what i should do!

Gonna go sleep in 15mins time! packing my bag and preparing for work tmr! Nitey all!!

Mixed Feelings! Excited! Tired! Happy! Sad!

Today is my FIRST day of work at my NEW office!! was sooooo excited last night that, although i went to bed early, i couldnt get to sleep! end up tossing and turning til 1-ish am, and i woke up at 4-ish am! -.-" I eventually did manage to go back to sleep, but i woke up again at 6-ish am! Went to bath and prep, ate breakfast and im outta the house!

Took the train, and it was extremely packed! i had to wait for 2 trains leave before i manage to squeeze onto the 3rd train! BUT, i was still soooo early! Took a slow stroll to office, and reached at 8.42am! End up i was the first to reach, and since it was my first day, i didnt have the keys nor access code! Had to wait outside the office before 1 of my new colleague came!

Settled down, and got to know everyone~ Didnt really do much today, just some run through of the programs, setting up of my email and skype, knowing everyone, taking notes of where the files and stuff are, and other misc~

As i didn't have sufficient sleep, i kept yawning in office all day! Super TIRED!! =(

Well, so far, my colleagues are all pretty friendly and nice, and that includes my Director, VP and other managers and bosses! They're all so nice!! Hopefully its not just a 1st day thingy though~ haa!

Anyway, after work, BF and XiaoQiang came over to pick me up!! =) Happy Happy! And he brought my favorite BUBBLE TEA to share with me!! We then head over to Parkway to shop for some stuff before we eventually head to Old Kallang Airport for dinner~

After dinner, they send me home, as i need to work tomorrow, and thus couldnt join them for other activities nor accompany my BF. =( Its only the first day, and im starting to miss my carefree life where i can accompany BF all the time, fetch him to and fro from work and join them in supper and night activities and bear catching! *sulks*

Guess im too use to this kinda life! Considering its been a year since i last work! Hopefully i can quickly adapt to my new lifestyle again! Sleep early, Wake up early, Go to work early!!

anyway, just an update! Dearie is back! Happy Happy! =) Went to airport to meet his family and him. Was kinda late due to some errands, thus didnt get to wait outside the arrival hall for him to walk out~ haa! end up by the time i reach he was already out and with his family awaiting for me instead! *oops* LOL!

but nonetheless happy to see him and happy he is safely back! =)

he didnt buy much from this trip though! cuz his friends all didnt wanna shop and spend more time eating and doing other stuff~ but he was sweet enough to still get me a couple of items! =)

SeaShells Wind Chimes! i LOVE it! firstly cause i LOVE wind chimes! and secondly cause i LOVE sea shells! thirdly cause its so pretty! and lastly cause, its from my LOVE! =p

He also got me a Abercrombie and Fitch Polo Tee which fits me very nicely!

And he won this huge Hello Kitty bolster for me from a game! =)

after he came back, we rested at home, he played my iPhone and got hooked to Angry Bird as well! i then cooked us dinner and watched soccer before he send me home awhile ago.

now that im home, resting abit, updating this blog and im gonna head to sleep!! i gotta sleep early from now on! especially from sunday to thursday nights~ cant stay up late like i used to do! as i need to get up for WORK!

YES!, im officially commencing work tomorrow! so excited! =) Hope all is well! Do pray for me peeps!

More Shopping and Eating again!

Gosh, i've really been spending too much lately!! Been shopping alot, eating alot!

woke up yesterday and played a new game in Facebook, Nightclub City!! Super addictive game! Its so addictive that i soon neglected Farmville and Restaurant City as they're both very lag!

In the evening went down to Ion to meet my BFF, Caelyn! We headed to The Asian Kitchen for our dinner as everywhere else was extremely packed with long queue!

After dinner, we commenced shopping! And again, i bought another bag with her! Haha! Now we have the exact same bag of the same color! LOL!

We Shopped from Ion, to Wisma, to Taka. Got kinda thirsty and so we ordered Auntie Aunt's Passion fruit juice and sat down to rest our feets and chat! After which continue shopping til the shops are closed before we went to meet Vic. He send me to Cityhall before the both of them head to Marina Bay Sands!

On top of that, today is my last day of FREEDOM and carefree life!! Cause after today, which would be Monday, I'll be back to working life!! Official commencement of work!! Im so excited too! Hehe!

Worried Sick!

i was worried sick the whole day, even when i was out with Angela! In the evening, i tried calling him for and hour plus, but was directed to the voicemail! got kinda paranoid~

but, thank God! i was just worrying too much! cuz he eventually called me back and told me his HP was low on battery. He had told me earlier on, but i just couldnt help but still worry~ especially since he is in Thailand! Miles apart from me! Adding on that the situation there is pretty messy!

Cant wait for him to fly back on Sunday!! I miss him so much!!

But anyway, he was out clubbing with his friends awhile ago to celebrate his friend's birthday~ While i was home playing a new game on facebook! got kinda hooked on it and played til i forgotten the time! He soon called after he left the club, and told me he was gonna head back to the hotel~ Told me he was high on drinks, and i mentioned that at least he wasnt drunk to the extend that he didnt call me! Else i would have been worried again! haa~ And he said something that made me happy and smile like theres no tomorrow~ "Even if im drunk, I'll still call you, cause you're the most important to me!" (not the exact words, as i translated this from Chinese!) =)

Hehe! so sweet right!! Gosh im loving my silly sweety dearest boy more and more each day!! ♥

Hehe~ Gonna log off my computer soon~ Waiting for his call to imform me he's safely back in the hotel before i'll go to sleep~ =)
