21st Bday Celebration (2nd)!

2nd celebration was my 21st bday party that i had planned! its held Yesterday, 13sept08 at Aloha Loyang Garden Terrace C! Theme for the day was BLACK meets WHITE! haha u should be able to guess what almost everyone had worn for the day! hehe! woke up early in the morning and prep before Baby and i brought Muffin to Aloha Loyang at 3pm to meet Jialiang as he had to Check-in for me since the room is under his name! Thanks Bro for booking the room for me! and also those those who've contributed to the room..hehe!

Mike came shortly after we reached and after which went to the room, and within mins my BBQ stuff was delivered over. as Bf was still sick and feverish, i got him to rest in the room awhile Mike and i did all the preparations...soon after the settled the BBQ stuff, it was balloon time! as my white balloons were really tough to blow. Mike had to blow up all of them for me including the black balloons! i did contribute to blowin up a few black balloons though! =p after which we put up the black and white balloons and banners and rested for awhile before the crowd slowly came in..

my parents came with some misc stuff and my colleagues Cassandra, AhLow, Aaron, and classmates, Glenn, Jamie and ZhenHan were the first few that came! at that time my caterer have not arrived yet! that would be around 5+~ at 6+, my caterer came with the food and the party officially started! more people start to pour in..my sec sch classmates Aloysius and Andre were next..and im really touched that although Aloysius was sick he still came! thanks bro!

i cant rmbr the order of the pple that came..but anyway..soon after, people start coming in and went to eat and bbq...Allan and Weizhen came shortly after with my Bday cake! Thanks sweets~ and after that i was like a mad woman running ard entertaining people and getting things in order..i was simply so busy that i didnt even haf time to entertain everyone, tk much fotos or even have the mood or appetite to eat...so i end up not tasting my own catering food that i ordered or the bbq stuff...faints! during this time, Mike was BBQing food for my guest! he's my chef of the day! haha..Thanks korkor! my bbq woud all have been wasted if not for u! thanks so much!! you wont know how grateful i am! seriously! well another note i wanna point out was that there were relly VERY few fotos taken...sigh! i didnt get to tk much fotos with Baby or my family.."thanks" to pple who keep rushing me...argh~ anyway..at around 9pm, it was the cake cutting session.. many people left before i cut the cake..which was pretty sad..but anyway...after the cake cutting..many people left..my beloved brother decide to tk over my poor korkor Mike in BBQing..and it was only left with some classmates and good friends who've stayed on...and some people came pretty late...which is after the cake cutting and all....and at night..my circle of trust, mainly Kelvin, Jerrain, Sebas and Mike decide they had to get me drunk and wasted on my bday night! LOL! so yea..they got their wish! and i was totally wasted and knock out...lucky mummy and Bf was there to tk care of me...went to slp shortly after i puked..and Bf and Mummy continue playing with them and drinking on my behalf! haha!

right after lunch..came back and found a couple of pressies lying on my desk! weeee~ felt so happy!! its just sucha joy to recieve pressies!

been waiting for this day to come for a long time~ the day i'll recieve the golden key~ haa`...the day i get to watch R21 shows, the day i'll b able to enter certain clubs, the day i'll be able to apply for credit cards, etc.~ haha! but its also a day i'll have to start worrying bout wrinkles and aging..faints!

time flies..21 years of my life have passed like a breeze...looking back..i feel old now~ but well..theres still a long way ahead of me~ and im excited to find out wat life have got in store for me!

i usually dont celebrate birthdays...but since its my 21st, i decide to make it an exception! but since its the first time im celebrating...i know nuts about party preparations and all that...so i got very stressed out and panic...and decided to plan for my birthday celebration since at least 4 to 5 mths back...from booking a place to hold my party, sourcing for caterers and stuff, to ordering of my catering food, bbq food, doing up the invitations, sending them out, getting my balloons and banners, ordering my bday cake and so on.. the process before the party really wasnt easy..i didnt expect there would be so many things to be done...but the busiest and toughest job was during the party...having to prep before the party starts, to serve and entertain each and every one who came, to make sure everyone is eating and not alone, making sure everything is in place and etc. theres just so many things to do..and im super duper drained out now...

but with that said..i must say that im really happy and thankful that everything went on pretty smoothly..weather was good as it didnt rained..just kinda warm as there aint much wind! but still it beats having rain~ plus all my beloved are there with m on this very special day~

well...i wouldnt say it was the perfect birthday party i had in mind..people i expect would come didnt..plus some kinda totally spoilt my day (dont wish to comment much on this)...but still on the overall..i would consider it quite a success with about 58 pple including me present at my party..hees`..there were sufficient food...but tooo much left over...guess i kinda over estimated! faints...so much food an drinks wastage!!! but well..everything did went smoothly...only sad tt i didnt manage to get many photos as i was simply too busy and many pple keep rushing me.sighh...dont even haf much fotos with my bf or my parents...sad sad~

i wanna hereby specially thank my lovely family and bf for helping me out and making my bday party a great success...and also a big special thank to my Korkor, Mike for everything he's done...from coming early to help up with preparations and decorating the room...to taking care of me...to helping me set up the bbq and bbq food for my guest and me, and constantly helping me out in every way possible..thanks oso for the present and handmade card!! really appreciate everything that you've done for me!! Thanks korkor!! =)

bad weather.

bad weather.

weather has been pretty bad recently. rain. scorching hot. rain. scorching hot. one moment u're fine, next moment u're sick. ytd evening, after work, was with my classmates as they're having dinner, when i received an sms from Baby saying he's sick and visiting the doctor. got pretty worried and i just couldnt stay still. went to class feeling uneasy, and during brk time i decide i cant stay on anymore. therefore, left class right away, took a cab and rushed home, got changed into something more comfy and drove down to baby's place with some cooling tea to ease fever and flu..

upon reaching, baby opened the door for me, and his mum said theres kfc to eat. faints~ anyway..baby looked really sick and awful..running a high fever and his whole body and head are very hot! not warm, but hot! u could probably literally cook an egg ya...made the cooling tea for him to drink, found some cooling pads in the fridge and stick them onto baby's head. watched him slp and i finally dozed off too..

in the morning, woken up by my alarm. checked baby's temperature. and thank god! his fever have subsided! =) so happy and glad he's feeling slightly better alrdy..so finally i reluctantly left his place and went home to prep for work le..

just received a call from mummy, and she told me wat happened at home after i left hm last night..well..its said tt dogs are man's best friend. and i must say tt i totally agree with that, ever since i've gotten Muffin. Apparently, after i left home last night, Muffin started whining and scratch the sliding door hoping to open it to find me..end up my parents have to try get his attention with treats, but even that didnt work...so they have to carry him and pet him for awhile before he finally calmed down...and at night, mummy told me he dragged his cushion to my room door which is closed and slept in front of my door! when i heard that my heart totally sank...super heart wrenching right? super sweet of him....guess he thinks i dont want him alrdy and am waiting for me to come home... no wonder when i got home just now he was super duper excited and keep blocking me way, trying to stop me from going to work~ awwww~ i love my lil precious Muffin!! he's just the sweetest things ever! =) and oso the best birthday present i've ever received!

anyway...tonight and tmr gonna be pretty rush for me~ have to do some last min prep and tmr need to do some grocery shopping~ hehe..kinda excited! but yet some what dissapointed with the terrible response.. sigh...imagine...out of so many people tt u invite, and yet now only less den half replied to cfm attendance. and my guess is probably less den half are attending..sigh... dunno if i've ordered too much food le....=( everytime ard this time of the year..somehow i'll always be very sad and disappointed. and i really dread it.... praying and still giving it a lil hope that this yr will be different......

qihui and cecilia are coming down to meet me for lunch later! weee! =) cant wait to see them..hehe!

just recieved sms from Baby...he still aint feeling well..sighh`..was just informed by him that his fever is back again.. =( worried~

gosh..im having very mixed contradicting feelings now..happy, sad, worried, excited, contented yet disappointed..faints~
