Official Launch of My Co.'s CSR!

Yesterday was a very busy day for me. Went to work as usual, and right after lunch, went with a few other helpers to a Salon nearby our office to get our hair done up. After which our driver came to pick us up and we head down to Grand Hyatt Hotel for the Rehearsal.

It was my co.'s official launch of Corporate Social Responsibility Programme & "RSA Fund" at NTU, with Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth & Sports as our Guest-Of-Honour. As mentioned, its held at Grand Hyatt Hotel Ballroom.
Upon reaching, did some rehearsal and run through of the programme with the event coordinator and people from NTU. It was fun but yet pretty tiring..i had to keep walking ard and keep alert at all times, as i was one of the floor ushers, accompanied by my darling SiewLing..It was pretty confusing and the coordinator was pretty fierce! faints`..anyway..got changed and prepared and did a last run through and rehearsal before the actual event starts and the guest starts pouring in..

it started off with the drummers for the opening and arrival followed by speeches and i was placed in charged of ushering my CEO and Dr Bala Krishnan! i had to also usher my chairman and Dr Su from NTU! Stressed! i was kinda worried, i'll trip and fall or something ya..haa`..as its like quite a impt event with the minister present and that this event would be made known on the straits time and stuff like tt...so i was really stressed! after which was the cheque presentation to NTU, the official opening with the keys inserted in a heart thingy, ballet performance, dinner and yet another cheque donations to charities, followed by the continuation of dinner and the acapella performace before event ends..

well another thing to comment on is the food! its really delicious! but too bad i was too busy and stressed up to actually sit down and enjoy the food at ease..as throughout i had to be on standby to do the ushering..=(

but nonetheless, the event was pretty successful, enjoyable and very meaningful..=)
